SIGNATURE STYLE: A mix of luscious fabrics in a range of prices. Girardot feels most at home in skinny jeans, baggy tees and flats, with a few ’60s mini swing skirts thrown into the mix. However, her budding relationship with Chanel has seen her forgoing her favourite Zara pieces, and wearing many of their high-end creations, plus some Carven classics, on the red carpet.

WE LOVE HER BECAUSE… She followed her dream. Girardot comes from an artistic family. Her maternal grandparents were the famous Spanish and French artists Antonio Otero and Clotilde Vautier. Both of her parents, Hippolyte Girardot and Isobel Otero, are famous French actors. Her father, when he found out she wanted to pursue the same career, told her to think of something else, but she remained stubborn, and used her idols Cate Blanchett and Al Pacino to give her the strength to move to New York and start taking acting classes. The rest, as they say, is history.

INTERESTINGLY, Girardot already has her style icons sorted. She admires Jean Shrimpton, a vital character in the rise of the swinging ’60s in London, but it’s her Grandmother who really inspires her style. She has inherited many items of jewellery that she uses to add vintage and timeless charm to her modern looks.
