Flaminia Saccucci's winning collection featured clever cutting alongside floral insignia treated with a modern edge.

Last night saw the last ever Central Saint Martin’s graduate collection show take place at the iconic York Hall in London’s Bethnal Green. As well as showcasing the finest graduating talent from the internationally recognised arts institution, the evening offered a nostalgic look back over the various sites that have been home to the University since 1939, as mass relocation is imminent.

1st runner up Nicholas Aubern impressed with his use of block geometry and headwear.

Of the 45 designers on show, a number were awarded prizes, judges by a panel of industry experts which included Alexandre Roux  of John Galliano, Carola Long of the Financial Times, Craig Lawrence, Luke Hersheson, Lucas Ossendrijver from Lanvin Homme and the designer Lutz. The proceedings were sponsored by L’Oreal Professional, with the evening hosted by Hilary Alexander and Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton in attendance.

2nd runner up (womenswear) Momo Wang added a fun and varied element to proceedings.

2nd runner up (menswear) Ivan Curia Nunes made his men slick and mod in creamy neutrals.

Flaminia Saccucci was named as this years ‘Young Talent’ with her latex, floral and cleverly cut collection comprising of ditsy prints and tribal tattoo banding in an impressive juxtaposition. First runner up went to Nicholas Aubern with his marvelous hats, whilst second runners up were Momo Wang (womenswear) and Ivan Curia Nunes (menswear) respectively.
