Golden Globes 2013 Best Dressed
The Golden Globes may be the slightly less chic and awkward cousin of The Academy Awards, but that doesn’t mean celebrities don’t put in the effort. They know the red carpet is going to get covered from every single media source in the world, and nobody wants to be labelled as boring, or even worse ‘unforgivably styled’. Luckily, this year was actually pretty good when it came to quality. Many actresses turned up wearing a good balance of flattering/creative/unusual, with a wide array of colours. Here are our best dressed for 2013:

It’s hard to believe that Sienna Miller gave birth in July as she looks positively virginal in dainty floral Erdem

Kate Hudson goes for the simple silhouette/badass neck embellishment look in Alexander McQueen

Michelle Dockery looking like an ancient Greek bust in Alexandre Vauthier

Jennifer Lawrence channels a shapely coral reef in Christian Dior. Certainly emphasises her assets.

Anne Hathaway bringing tranquil sophistication, and looking a lot like a bespoke vase, in Chanel

Amanda Seyfried in layered lace Givenchy has a feel of Mrs Havisham before she got stood up

Jodie Foster came out in blue sparkly Armani…is there a better way to battle your demons?

Julianne Moore rocks her usual look in another resplendent monochrome Tom Ford. You know what they say – if it ‘aint broke, don’t fix it.

Naomi Watts in Zac Posen. Gorgeous colour, but that train is reminiscent of her character’s blood-bath in The Impossible

The ageless Marion Cotillard absolutely zings in Christian Dior. Looking at her is like drinking freshly squeezed orange juice inside the Northern lights.

Rachel Weisz is perfect in polka-dotted Louis Vuitton. Plus, she had the best accessory in Daniel Craig. Delish.
