Jesse Jo Stark

Jesse Jo Stark X Vans, from her Tumblr. Showing us an animal print beanie is a great counterpoint to a chic velvet dress.

YOU MIGHT RECOGNISE HER FROM… any party where Mark ‘The Cobrasnake’ Hunter has been taking photos. She is his current muse, and it helps that she’s been on the guest list of almost every single fashionable gathering in the last 12 months. More recently, she’s been attending as a performer, singing with her punk rock band.

WE LOVE HER BECAUSE… she is unashamedly enjoying herself. Music and design have always been her two passions, and she’s just about balancing them with her party-heavy and jet-setting lifestyle. She’s collaborated for a few seasons with Vans to create a range of creepers and cropped tops, and last week she played as the main act at the launch party for Marni’s first perfume, in Berlin.

WE CAN’T WAIT FOR… the release of her first record. She’s working on it now, and with members of The Sex Pistols and Guns’n'Roses to help focus her style, it’s sure to (literally) rock the the music industry boat. Once there’s an album we can all buy, she’s sure to become a favourite for the summer festivals, with her mix of shabby chic with luxurious and vintage details.

INTERESTINGLY, her parents co-founded and own fashion brand Chrome Hearts, which she now works on as part of her designing project. Even more amazing – her godmother is the one and only Cher. Can you imagine just chilling out with Cher in your spare time? No wonder she’s effortlessly moved from minor to major.
