The country is abuzz with what Kate Middleton will wear to her wedding, but another Kate is getting married this year, and we actually find speculating on the Kate Moss wedding much more exiting.
Kate Moss (yes, for the first time La Moss is the “other” Kate) will marry fiance Jamie Hince on July 2 (our guess) in Oxfordshire (also our guess) and have her reception in the barn at her country pad (also, yes, a guess).
July 2 should be excellent weather, it’s right before everyone takes off on August holidays and Moss’ famous friends like Dior designer John Galliano won’t be tied up with the fashion season.
Oxfordshire and nearby Somerset are positively teaming with adorable churches and civil wedding ceremonies, and if she can usher all the guests into a couple of local buses, they could easily scoot back to the Moss ranch for a rock ‘n’ roll knees-up.
If we can be serious for a moment, because weddings are a serious business, we know Miss Moss loves vintage, that she’s a fan of Terry de Havilland shoes and so our suggested look for her wedding day is based in some semblance of fact. We have also heard firsthand that she rather fancied a vintage veil worn during a very recent shoot, so our guesswork is based in accurate gossip to boot.
Moss is unlikely to wear anything from a typical bridal designer – a tack that more brides should take – so vintage is the ideal choice. Plus it cuts out her MAJOR dilemma of having to choose a famous designer to ask – she knows them all.
