Congratulations to Alice , this weeks winner of style contest. It’s easy to see what her new year’s resolutions are going to be by this look. Wearing more colour has to be one of them. The vibrant prints on the Stella McCartney trousers and colour-pop combo of the coral orange Proenza Schouler mini leather satchel and hot pink animal print Lilifi purse show that taking on the new year is best done with power and a sense of fun.
Her jewellery choices seem to say ‘be bold’ in 2012. Large statement Mawi earrings and an inciting Maison Martin Margiela brass chain harness top work together to embellish and draw out the look with unfettered confidence.
However, there is an element of reminding yourself that less can sometimes be more. Simple peep toe wedges from Pedro Garcia and a Sandro top complete this look without overstating and crowding the already colourful ensemble. With such a natural tendency to create the perfect look, we think that Alice will certainly achieve her dream sooner rather than later.
