We see them stalking down the runway, like panthers, in the oddest assortment of clothing, but what do super models wear when they’re not representing the famous houses of fashion?
First things first, those super skinny legs will be tightly encased in some high-end leggings and drowned in oversized sturdy biker boots. That urban atmosphere will be set off with a peep of a mini feminine dress or skirt which, again, is swamped in a large winter jumper. Boyfriend looks are always a set piece of the model, the comfort and effortlessness of a look like this will be a welcome change to the towering platforms and precariously taped bandage dresses you see in couture fashion shows.
Big blazers, roomy scarfs and knitted hats will be thrown on to face the biting New York cold or Parisian rain, and a large tote will carry their essentials, probably a swanky laptop, several facial creams and the all important iPod for those long and weary hair and make-up sessions.
Another favourite of the fashion canvas is the friendship bracelet. Layered on top of each other, a woven ribbon of threaded and charmed bangles can often be seen displayed on a slender unblemished wrist.
