Yes, we know it’s early. But we rather felt the effects of the first frost over the weekend. It’s got us thinking about inviting some friends to Verbier later in the winter. Got to get those invites in early, otherwise they might find better offers (actual joke)! Of course, we will do a spot of skiing, but we really are most looking forward to the apres ski part – the part where we get to lounge with some hot toddies and cosy sweaters in front of a fire.
There’s a great lot of knitted apres ski wear coming into stores, what with the whole seventies thing going on in winter wear, and of course for next spring. Dolce and Gabanna of course did plenty of the snow-patterned knits. See by Chloe has affordable versions of that. Anyone could suggest that you wear nice snug leggings, or treggings, or (shudder) jeggings in front of the fire. But we propose furry little shorts. As long as you’ve done your squats and lunges, you’ll look a treat in these with some knee-high boots. Minxy, even.
