News: Virginie Mouzat: the new editor of Vogue Paris?
Posted: . Filed under: News
Since the news of Carine Roitfeld’s departure from Vogue Paris early next year was announced, the question on every fashionista’s lips has been who will be filling those Givenchy boots? With a few names circulating the rumour mill, it seems ‘intellectual’ fashion director of Le Figaro, Virginie Mouzat, is pipping others such as Emmanuelle Alt,Vogue Paris fashion director, to the distinguished post.
Known for her understated yet predictably chic personal style, as well as thinking-woman’s approach to the creative process, Mouzat seems to be a favourite amongst industry insiders and onlookers respectively.
Nudity is a big part of Paris Vogue, so what better way to encourage models to get nekked than to do it yourself for Purple Magazine? Whether you think this decision deserves kudos or confusion, one thing’s for sure, Roitfeld’s ‘rock n’roll’ vision is set to continue.
